The girl of summer

July-August 2013: Summertime fun! Katelynn is growing so fast. She's starting to hold herself up already! She is having tons of fun with the butterfly on her jungle. I can't believe how much my sweet baby has changed in just 4 short months! I just love her to pieces!

So of course I had to do a photoshoot of Katelynn's first beach trip. I took the pictures and Janelle edited them for me. So precious!!!

Myrtle Beach, June 29-July 6, 2013

Katelynn's first trip to the beach!!! She loved to watch the waves splash up on her feet, but hated the wind in her face. I thoroughly enjoyed dressing her up in a new bathing suit everyday! We had a wonderful week with the family!

First Father's Day

Katelynn spent her very first Father's Day with her daddy and grandpa! She has got her grandpa wrapped around her finger!

One Happy Girl!

Katelynn has really been smiling and "talking" quite a bit over the past few weeks, however capturing this on camera has been quite difficult. I finally snapped a few though. She's just too cute!!!

TV time!

So Matt and I have noticed that Katelynn loves to stare at the many black and white photos around our living room. So after a little research we discovered that babies are drawn to those colors because of the high level of contrast. Well long story short during little Missy's witching hour we decided to try out some black and white baby videos...much to our delight she LOVED them! Phew, 20 minutes of peace thank goodness! : )

Aunt La La's Graduation festivities

Katelynn finally made it to 6 weeks, so it was time to share her with the world! Her first major event was Aunt La La's graduation party! Katelynn got to meet the rest of her family and lots of new friends! Then it was off to graduation to support Aunt La La! What an exciting week for Katelynn!
